【Location】
The location of this hotel, Kyoto City Nakagyo-ku Nishinokyo is a residential area so it is quiet at night. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the JR Nijo station or Nishioji-Oike station on the Tozai subway line. As you enter the sidewalk for about 10 meters from the main road you can see the hotel (“The laundry called “ぴーぷる” is a landmark).
From Kyoto station you can also use Route 205 (Kyoto city bus). Route 205 (Kyoto city bus) are crowded all day because local people and tourists use it. Kyoto city bus get on from the rear door and get off at the front, so be attention is necessary when you taking a bus with a big carry bag. There are supermarkets and convenience stores (less than a minute walk from the hotel) in the way to the hotel.
It is a picture of the main road from the front of the hotel. The building on the right side is a laundry and the left side is a convenience store on the back of the main road. By the way, the right side of the photo is towards Nishiojiji-Oike subway station and the left side is JR Nijo station direction.
Staff are not resident in this hotel. To enter the hotel, you need two entrance number keys and one for room number, which are contacted by the management company in advance by telephone or e-mail. Since I made a reservation from the homepage this time, it was sent by e-mail from the management company in advance. Settlement is online only. The office hours of the company closes at 18 o’clock, so if you have any questions you need to contact by 18 o’clock.
【Room】
I stayed in a double room. The name is a “hotel” but it feels like it came back to my house. Moreover, it is a new house.
The bed had a moderate hardness with a thick mattress and was very comfortable. Both lighting switch and outlet are located above the bed and easy to use. Yukata was prepared as a sleepwear.
The space I liked most was the kitchen. It was a waste that it was only one night. The stove for grilling was not allowed to use because of a prohibited stick paper, but it was a user-friendly kitchen like home. By the way the stove is a two-piece gas stove.
Dishes and cutlery were also substantial. A pot, a frying pan, a bowl and a kettle were also prepared. The cutlery is for 2 people, and the tableware seems to be aligned with the brand called Hasamiyaki.
Of course, there is also a refrigerator and a microwave oven. There was no rice cooker as expected.
The TV is a wall hanging type, which is not that big, but I do not mind it because I do not watch TV so much at my destination. The room where I stayed at this time was TV and bed position 90 degrees. Therefore, to watch TV I think that it is good to sit by moving the chair (or sleep) of the table or sit at the foot of the bed. Of course, it was complete with Wi-Fi, memos with ID and PW were placed on the table. Outlets are also present throughout the room.
The washroom is also beautiful. It was easy to use on an independent washbasin and there were plenty of storage space.
The bath has an automatic hot-water supplier and can also reheating function. Besides the bathroom there was also a hot water controller in the bedroom so it was very convenient. The brand of shampoo and body soap was DHC.
The toilet is of course equipped with an Japanese advanced Toilet Seat which has functions such as seat warming, washing bottom, bidet, and drying.
Finally, the storage was a walk-in closet and was large enough. Luggage is also placed on the upper shelf, and if it is a small carry-back, several pieces are entered. There are also several hangers. The room we stayed in did not have a washing machine (there seems to be a room with a washing machine), but there was a laundry and a laundromat a few seconds on foot from the hotel.

Since I stayed in 2018, it was freshly opened. The storage capacity is very high compared with general hotels. It is a wasteful thing that we can not use the equipment of this room in one night and two days. It can be used for ceremonial occasions where long-term travel and luggage are frequented. It can be cooked as soon as you bring in foodstuffs, so it’s perfect for those who want to spend a short stay in a short stay.
